Wendy has been in the real estate industry for
13 years. She is a multi million-dollar producer
and a member of the Top Producers Club in both
the Tri County and Anderson Board of Realtors.
She has served as part secretary of the Tri
County Board. Being active in the community as
well, she has served two consecutive terms as
secretary of the Walhalla Beautification
Commission and currently serving on the
publicity committee of Walhalla Partners for
Progress Planning Commission. Wendy is also a
teacher in the children's church of Rocky Knoll
Baptist Church, where she is a member. In
addition, Wendy and Lakeside Real Estate has
sponsored girl's softball recreation teams and
sponsored under privileged children at
Christmas. They have also sponsored an essay and
art contest for the "Drug Free" Red Ribbon Week.
Wendy is married to Jay Brown and they have 3
beautiful children: Jarrett 14, Katie 12, and
Jake 9. Wendy believes that giving back to the
community is very important, especially to the
children. "Children are our future, we must
instill in them the values that they will need
to succeed." Wendy enjoys real estate, listening
to what the client/ customer needs and the
challenge of finding that perfect property!
Being a native to the Oconee area helps Wendy in
her searches, since she knows the area well!
When she is not working, Wendy enjoys spending
time with family and friends, decorating,
swimming and boating! In 2000, Wendy teamed up
with Kim Gasque, and they opened Lakeside Real
Estate. "Kim is a partner in every sense of the
word," says Wendy," It is really great to be
partners with someone that you not only respect,
but actually like!" Since they have teamed up,
their sales have soared! "You know when you are
doing the right things!" Areas of expertise:
Commercial => fast food, such as Burger King,
several day care centers, car washes, etc.
Investment => Apartment complexes, rental
property, land, subdivisions, etc. Residential
=> Homes ranging from 50 K to several hundred K
Farms and Acreage Waterfront Lots.

Kimberly Owen started her career
in Real Estate in 1996 as a Real Estate
Assistant then becoming a licensed realtor in
1999. Kimberly and her family currently reside
in the Walhalla area, and is a very active
member in her community and church. Kimberly
says " I have always been interested in homes.
This probably comes from my families history in
home construction. From the time the lot was
cleared, through meeting the family that would
make it there home, this whole process intrigued
me. Whether I am assisting a home seller or a
purchaser, I enjoy the whole process."

Kala Marcello, a long-time resident of South Carolina, joined the Lakeside Real Estate Team in August of 2006 as a full-time real estate agent. Having lived in Walhalla and Seneca as well as experiencing both education programs, Kala has built a knowledgeable understanding of the Oconee County area. She left the area only for a short time to earn a BFA in photography and jewelry at Winthrop University. Eager to begin her career as an agent, Kala has returned to Seneca to use all of her skills in order to build innovative selling strategies and productive client relationships. She plans to focus on serving all of the real estate needs in the Oconee County area, but specializing in lakefront properties on Lake Keowee and Lake Hartwell. Kala is a member of the Anderson Association of Realtors and an avid participant in her community. As a part of the Dream Team remember Kala could be “The key to living your dreams.”
